I just tucked you in the for the night. You did not want pajamas tonight, so you are just in a diaper. I read you stories then snuggled next to your soft skin. Sometimes I feel like I can't hold he tight enough or give you enough kisses. Maybe I think if I hold you and kiss you like a baby you won't grow-up! But you will and I'm glad you will.
I have no doubt you'll grow to be a happy kid that loves everyone.
You love playing with Legos and Star Wars...by-passing all the age appropriate toys. You are great at keeping-up with Coen and Marcella. Your speech is a little delayed. A year ago you got tubes and the ENT Doctor said you had been pretty much deaf for a year. This June you did speech therapy but graduated. I think you'll come around eventually, I'm not worried. You are smart, you pick-up on a lot of things.
You are so good at saying "Thank you." After someone has helped you with something. The way you say yes is with a "Hum" sound. So cute.
Other than milk I'm not sure you have any favorite foods. You are pretty particular and unless you sit on one of our laps and we feed you at dinner, you don't eat much. Nevertheless I think you'll be our biggest kid. You love any kind of ball and have great coordination.
Drake I love you. Know that no matter what I will always love you.

Where did my baby go?
Baby Drake...where did you go?
How fast nearly three years has flown! You were just crawling around my feet and were nestled in my hip.
Now you get food by yourself, go the bathroom on your own and want to keep up with your big brother and sister.
My baby can now throw a football, hit a baseball and kick a soccer ball. He can even do a front flip on the trampoline!
Where did my baby go? You still have your dimples, your smile and your hugs. You still want to hold me tight before you go to bed. You still want to rub my hair while you fall asleep. And you still give the best kisses of anyone I know.
You've by-passed the Little People toys and have gone straight for Coen's Legos and Star Wars guys. But, most of all your favorite (everyone's favorite) are the "big Legos" as you call them.
One funny thing about you is that you are very particular about things. Like you only want Mom to give you your milk, you don't like when I wear ponytails (because it prohibits you from rubbing my hair). You are a picky little eater.
You'll always be my baby. So, forgive me if I treat you that way sometimes. Nevertheless, I expect a lot out of you too!
